Series. Les Jardins Secrets / The Secret Gardens. 2021-2023

Thus was born “Les Jardins Secrets” (The Secret Gardens), a prolific series in which I was able to crystallize and share my inner turmoil and my study of the human brain and neuroscience as a way of coming to terms with my emotions and healing from depression.

An ode to color, nature, and emotions: Combining acrylic, oil pastels, India ink, watercolors, and oil, I whish to expresses my own colorful emotions with a fluid and engaging technique. Pink, in all its shades, becomes her emotional mediator, my vehicle for conveying and transcending deep feelings.

Nature is at the heart of my inspiration, a nod to my Colombian roots. Under her brush, trees are transformed into dreamlike silhouettes, like fading cotton candy.
